DESCRIPTION Training Advanced Vehicle Knowledge

Vehicle knowledge is a fundamental competency for personnel involved in vehicle operation, maintenance, inspection, supervision, and fleet management. The rapid development of automotive technology, from conventional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles to Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (EV), requires continuous competency development to ensure that personnel are able to understand vehicle characteristics, operate vehicles safely, identify potential problems, and support fleet reliability and availability.

The Advanced Vehicle Knowledge training program is designed as a comprehensive five-day training program covering vehicle classification, major vehicle systems, operating principles, technical inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, modern automotive technologies, electric vehicles, and vehicle safety.

The training combines classroom presentation, discussion, case studies, video-based learning, component identification, technical analysis, and competency evaluation to provide participants with both theoretical understanding and practical awareness applicable to dayto-day vehicle operations.

Upon completion of the training, participants are expected to be able to:

  • Understand the basic technology and safety aspects of Electric Vehicles.
